I’m Bundeep, a London-based entrepreneur who has started, invested in and advised a number of fintech companies in the UK, Canada, Estonia, and India.
I hold founding CEO roles in PremFina, an award-winning UK insurtech co. that enables the purchase of insurance premiums; IXL Holdings that’s facilitated more than $300 million in bank financing to UK lending companies; Canadian blockchain firm Fineqia; London-based advisory firm IndusView; and most recently, Estonian-Based Black Insurance. That may seem like a lot but I’m always looking for the next big start-up.
I have advised the Boards of high-growth start-ups such as Skype and multinationals like India's Tata Consultancy Services, Germany’s T-Mobile and Volkswagen, the U.K.'s BT, Hays, Experian and Sage; Denmark’s Saxo Bank and US firm Bloomberg.
During my career, I have raised a billion dollars in equity and debt funding in the UK, Europe, Canada and India. I celebrated a recent USD $36 million raise for my latest venture www.premfina.com via a pilgrimage to Burning Man. I still don’t think I have recovered.
I’m no stranger to media. I began my career at Bloomberg, where I hosted Europe's first daily live TV show on the Internet and technology. Today, you can find me providing commentary on blockchain, insurance and fintech for the BBC, CNBC, CNN and Sky. Along with articles in the Telegraph, City AM, Insurance Business, and Insurance Times.
Where else can you find me? I have been a speaker at multiple events including the Paris Fintech Forum, Insurance 2025 London, South Summit Madrid amongst others.
